College Park

Atlanta’s gateway to the world, thanks to the new international terminal, College Park has everything a business or vacationing traveler could need. Minutes from Downtown Atlanta by MARTA train, the city boasts Georgia’s newest and second largest convention center, more than 8,000 hotel rooms, and an ample supply of eateries – from homegrown to your favorite chain.

East Point

The ATL Guide’s largest community and MARTA’s second stop from the airport, East Point is a diverse community offering a melting pot of culture, dining & shopping. East Point neighborhoods are vibrant, offering an eclectic mix of housing options. Camp Creek Marketplace offers an expansive shopping district with national retailers, specialty stores, assorted services & popular national chain restaurants.

Fairburn

Just 15 miles south of Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Fairburn is a city of history, with twenty commercial buildings and two train depots listed on the National Register. A thriving business community, Fairburn offers diverse cuisine with local favorites like Oz Pizza, Casablanca Cafe, Armando Mexican Cuisine, and Slider’s Burgers, plus various activities for everyone-the Georgia Renaissance Festival, a Farmers Market from June-August, a Fall Festival and more.

Forest Park

Forest Park is the largest city in Clayton County-home to the Atlanta State Farmers Market and Gillem Logistics Center (1,170+ acres & home to Kroger Co.’s new 1.2 million sq.ft. distribution facility). Comfortably located a little over 3 miles from Atlanta’s airport, it is revitalizing its Main Street with a multi-phase mixed use development to bring new residents and new jobs into the area.

Hapeville

Bustling with growth, the City of Hapeville is the epicenter of the resurgence for the Atlanta Airport area. The designated Main Street City is home to the original Chick-fil-A Dwarf House and Wells Fargo Processing Center. Hapeville is a walkable community, a little over two miles in size, that offers a charming historic downtown filled with restaurants, shopping,
a train depot museum and a lively downtown park.

City of South Fulton

City of South Fulton held a grand reopening for the newly renovated world class South Fulton Tennis Center in November 2021. The center boasts 24 tennis courts (20 hard courts and 4 clay courts) with new surfacing, striping, poles, nets and other equipment. They have also added new pickleball courts and a full-service pro shop. The center plans to host professional, semi-professional, collegiate and recreational tournaments plus provide instructional programs for area youth.

Union City

On the edge of the ATL Guide area, Union City is the gateway to the South Fulton Scenic Byway and is home to the second largest sound stages in North America. This fast growing, yet intimate, city with a little over 21,000 residents has the cultural, spiritual, educational, and economic opportunities of a large metropolis but the charm of a small bedroom community.

Home to the Georgia Archives, the world renown Spivey Hall at Clayton State University & Arts Clayton, the county also has over 895 acres of parkland, offering a variety of recreational opportunities.
